Diversity and inclusion are at the forefront of making organisations better places to work. From our experience as recruiters, we have seen how inclusivity can enrich and enhance the working environment. Ben Dalal at the Diversity Project

While there is still work to do, we have witnessed significant progress over the last two decades in this field.Every day, we do important work to promote investment management as an attractive career choice for all. Ben is proud to be an ambassador for the Diversity Project - Investment Management. Part of this commitment involves supporting the What Works workstream, which encourages organisations to consider how flexible working promotes a more inclusive work environment and culture. Using our Values to stand out from the crowd - Professional Recruitment Services

Using our values to stand out from the noise

We achieve this by having a team of experienced consultants who handle each assignment personally. Our values are core to the work we do; they are not merely words. They represent the standards that we hold ourselves accountable to, serving as a reference point for all aspects of our working relationships and interactions with colleagues, clients, candidates, and suppliers alike. We believe that adhering to these core values is fundamental to achieving long-term success and, most importantly, establishing long-term relationships.

Knowledge

We focus solely on technology and change recruitment, with an emphasis on the buy-side. Having established the business with the support of contacts made over an entire career, we can confidently say that we know our market and have been ingrained in it for over 30 years. Our consultants both boast 15 years of experience and, with that, a vast network that enables us to complete hiring quickly without relying on unknowns and trusting the recruitment process to chance.

Integrity

We want to be different; our values promote fairness, honesty, and transparency at all times. We treat everyone the way we would like to be treated, even if that favour isn't always returned. We do our best to achieve the right outcomes, even when they don't align with the most financially beneficial options. In these cases, we put what's right above the business's bottom line.

Delivery

Our model focuses on obtaining the talent you need in the fairest and quickest way possible. Recruitment is often a sideshow for hiring managers, but getting it right often pays dividends. We are a trusted partner to several global investment managers precisely for this reason. We deliver where internal talent acquisition teams and other suppliers cannot, which is why we are often the go-to for hiring.

Trust

Trust is the key pillar for building long-term relationships. These relationships gave us the courage to start Qh4 and the ability to keep the business growing year after year.

Begin the conversation

Our team are ready to help connect you with your next hire. Fill out the Contact Form, and one of us will be in touch (we usually respond the same day). We look forward to hearing from you.Ben and James

Permanent Recruitment

Permanent recruitment is what we do everyday; we are constantly speaking with our network of candidates to keep on top of the movers and shakers in our market. We work with clients to deliver a diverse and representative shortlist of candidates. We have been commended by a client’s Head of Resourcing for having a close to 100% success rate in candidates that we have introduced to interview stages. We have been doing this work for years (close to 40), so we are well positioned to help you navigate the challenges of securing a role in the modern and sometimes seemingly illogical recruitment structures within global clients.

Contract Recruitment

Traditionally we have focussed delivery on the contract space. We cannot write about our services and not mention IR35, which after it's introduction in April 2017 changed the contracting landscape forever. We were quick to learn and to adapt, but more importantly understand what impact this had on our clients and the consultants working through umbrella or LTD companies.Today we have a strong contractor book of individuals working all across Europe. We have a strong back office which services timesheet and payment and we are able to deliver both inside and outside IR35 resource.A focus for the business has been on working with clients to define deliverables and complete a fully insured statement of work (SOW) which allows clients to access and engage specialist talent, quickly and easily when delivery, time and quality are at the fore.

Executive Search

Qh4 have undertaken a number of retained searches for our clients. These have been delivered on a 33/33/33 model with payment at initiation, delivery of the shortlist and after successful onboarding of the candidate. We have a 100% track record of delivery do date; retained searches within the buy-side have included:- CTO – Global Investment Manager- Head of Corporate Technology – Global Investment Manager- Enterprise Data Architect – Global Investment Manager- Programme Director – Global Investment Manager

COOKIES & EXTERNAL WEBSITESTo provide better service to you on our websites, we use cookies to collect your personal data when you browse. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites that you visit. They are widely used to make websites work or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site. We use 4 types of Google Analytics cookies on the site. In summary they track visitor information for each visit and for returning visits. The detailed description of each cookie is as follows: Cookie Purpose _utma This cookie is used to determine new and returning visitors. It has an expiration time of 2 years. If the ga.js library is executed and no _utma cookie exists, this will be recorded as the users’ first visit and a _utma cookie will be set. If a _utma cookie is already in place, the expiration time is reset and the user is recorded as a return visitor. _utmb This cookie is used to determine a new session. The cookie is set when the ga.js library executes and there is no _utmb cookie in place. It has an expiration time of 30 minutes, therefore if a user is inactive for a period longer than this, a new cookie will be set when the library executes and the interaction will be recorded as a new session. _utmc This cookie works in conjunction with _utmb and takes a timestamp of the exact moment in time when a visitor leaves a site, waits 30 minutes, for another pageview to happen, and if it doesn’t, it expires at the end of a session (when you close your browser) _utmz This cookie is used to determine the traffic source, medium, campaign name and campaign term which delivered the user to your website. It is created when the javascript library executes and expires after 6 months. This helps Google collect the data which can then help them to determine which traffic sources assist conversions within the multi-channel section of Analytics.
